Politique : Roland Ries visé par une enquête judiciaire sur le tram de Bamako

Roland Ries, maire (PS) de Strasbourg et président du Gart, est visé par une information judiciaire pour favoritisme et recel de favoritisme, suite au financement par la ville de trois études de faisabilité du tramway de Bamako. Ces études, d’un montant de 50 000 euros, ont été confiées en 2009 aux bureaux d’ingénierie Serue et Transitec et à l’agence d’architecture Nogha Consulting, sans appels d’offres préalables. « C’est notre expérience et notre savoir-faire en matière de transport, et notamment de tramway, qui ont suscité l’intérêt des autorités maliennes pour cette coopération », explique Roland Ries, qui se dit « serein sur les suites » de l’information judiciaire, menée à Nancy. « Nous aurions pu apporter un fonds de concours à la ville de Bamako au titre de nos actions de coopération : nous avons préféré que la ville de Strasbourg assume la dépense elle-même… D’ailleurs, les choses ont débouché in fine sur la décision de principe de construction d’un tramway. Je m’en réjouis », déclare Roland Ries. L’industriel alsacien Lohr Industries a signé, en août dernier, un accord préliminaire pour l’équipement d’un réseau de tram sur pneus dans la capitale malienne.
