Colombie : Translohr retenu pour fournir 12 tramways sur pneus à Medellín
Medellín (Colombie) a attribué le marché du matériel roulant pour la future ligne de tramway d’Ayacucho au Groupe Lohr. Ce contrat, d’un montant de 42 millions d’euros, fait suite à une consultation menée par la société du métro de Medellín qui exploite deux lignes de métro et deux lignes de transport par câble. Le contrat est assorti d’un financement de projet, sous forme de prêt, par l’Agence française de développement (AFD). Il porte sur la fourniture de 12 tramways sur pneus Translohr STE5 de 39 mètres (300 passagers, avec 3 essieux motorisés) et sur les prestations associées (comprenant notamment les études spécifiques, l’assistance technique pendant 3 ans, la formation, les outillages spécifiques, les pièces de rechange, la documentation, le transport). Les premières livraisons sont planifiées mi-2013, pour une mise en service programmée début 2014. La ligne de tramway d’Ayacucho, qui sera la première pour Medellín, est une ligne d’hypercentre longue d’environ 5 km, reliant les stations de San Antonio (ligne B du métro) et Alejandro Echavarría (deux lignes de télécabines). La ligne présente des secteurs en pente de 12 % et des courbes de rayons de 20 m en ligne et de 10 m au dépôt. « La fréquentation attendue est de 85 000 passagers par jour, ce la rend comparable au T6 de la RATP », indique le directeur commercial de Translohr, Jean-François Argence.
