La CGT-cheminots juge « catastrophique » la situation de Fret SNCF

La CGT-cheminots s’est alarmée, le 25 janvier, de la situation du transport de marchandises par le rail en France, la jugeant dans un communiqué « catastrophique ». Selon le syndicat, les pertes de Fret SNCF atteignent 340 millions d’euros en 2011. Le déficit était de 427 millions d’euros en 2010. Il rappelle que la part du ferroviaire dans le transport de marchandises en France est tombée à 8,8 % en 2010, alors qu’elle était de 30 % en 1984 et de 16,6 % en 2000. Dans le cadre du Grenelle de l’environnement, l’objectif était de faire passer le ferroviaire à 25 % d’ici à 2022.
