+7,4 % de déplacements pour le réseau toulousain
Le réseau urbain toulousain Tisséo devient le quatrième de France avec une fréquentation record dans son histoire : plus de 100 millions de déplacements, en hausse de 7,4 % en un an. Cette affluence bénéficie aussi bien aux deux lignes de métro qui totalisent 69 % des validations (+6% pour la ligne A et +8 % pour la ligne B) qu’au réseau bus (+6,7% avec une offre élargie, notamment grâce à l’ouverture d’une ligne desservant Airbus, et un nombre de kilomètres parcourus en augmentation de 4 % pour les bus et de 9 % pour les TAD). En revanche, les débuts du tramway déçoivent un peu avec 15 000 voyageurs par jour, contre 30 000 attendus mais les responsables de Tisséo lui donnent deux ans pour atteindre les résultats espérés.
C’est surtout grâce aux jeunes que Tisséo a obtenu ces bons résultats. Il faut dire que le président du Grand Toulouse et de Tisséo, Pierre Cohen, les a chouchoutés, faisant passer leur abonnement mensuel de 22 à 10 euros. Résultat : un bond de 80 % des abonnements pour les moins de 26 ans ! Sur les 6,5 millions de déplacements de plus en 2010, 5 millions proviennent des abonnements jeunes. Malgré cet effort budgétaire, les recettes commerciales ont réussi à progresser de 4 %, rattrapant ainsi leur niveau de 2008, pour un budget total d’exploitation de 180 millions d’euros.
Pierre Cohen a profité de ce bilan pour rappeler l’objectif de l’agglomération toulousaine d’arriver à un quart de ses déplacements en transports en commun à l’horizon 2020, contre 16 % aujourd’hui.
